About Me

My research is broadly concerned with equity in cities, particularly how socio-spatial polarization impacts disadvantaged households and what housing and transportation planners and policymakers can do about it.  Recently, this has included a focus on how public transit systems enable or hinder the ability of low income and disadvantaged people from participating in the essential activities of daily life.

I work at the University of Toronto (see CV page for more).  This is where I blog about the things I’m interested in.

I have a beautiful cat named Ella, but she is in the U.S. and I am in Canada, so I miss her dearly.
